About Header

The Texas A&M Cybersecurity Club was founded on a spirit of generosity and mentorship for students interested in cybersecurity. Many of us found our start because someone took the time to help us, and we're proud to keep that tradition going by giving back to others in the same way.

The club began with a focus on hacking and defense, but as we've grown, so has our mission. Now, we explore a wide range of cybersecurity topics and ideas.

Cisco Lab Completed

Whether you're brand new or already experienced, we hope to help you discover just how broad and exciting the world of cybersecurity really is.

Since we were established, our top priority has been helping members grow. Along the way, students have earned respected certifications, placed in national competitions, and landed roles at both startups and major companies all through the skills and support they found here.

activity groups

All activity group logos

Our activity groups are led by student ambassadors in collaboration with companies like AWS, Red Hat, Cisco, and Palo Alto Networks, giving members direct exposure to current tools and real-world expertise.

committees

Our committees are the backbone of the club. They're fully student-run, giving members the chance to take ownership and make a real impact behind the scenes.

Technology Committee

The Technology Committee leads the development of both our backend systems (the Discord bot, CyberHam, and internal APIs) and our frontend platforms (this website and the Sponsor Dashboard). You'll gain real, resume-worthy experience using industry-standard tools while making a meaningful contribution to your community. New members are welcome year-round.

Public Relations Committee

The Public Relations Committee handles everything related to our external presence, from organizing outreach efforts and photographing events to designing our brand materials. They're the creative force behind how we're seen by the world, and they take that responsibility seriously. If you're passionate about storytelling, design, or community engagement, this is the place to make your mark. No experience needed.

Whether you're organizing competitions, managing outreach, or architecting the club's backend, committees offer hands-on experience and are often the first step toward leadership within the club. If you're interested in joining a committee, you can apply using the links above or reach out on the discord.

certifications

We offer a variety of certifications, all at zero cost to you! If you're looking to prove your knowledge or stand out to recruiters, certifications are the way to go. Contact our activity leaders for more information on how to qualify for a certification.
