Partnership Details:

Red Hat has partnered with the Texas A&M Cybersecurity Center to provide students with Red Hat's training curriculum at no cost and discounted certification exams. The program is going to join forces with Texas A&M Cybsercurity Club this year providing students in-demand skills to help prepare them for industry upon graduation. With Red Hat Academy’s support, our program at Texas A&M will train students on industry-ready skill set using Red Hat technologies. Students will also gain a strong foundation on Open Source concepts throughout this program.

Red Hat Academy’s core curriculum consists of two Linux courses: Red Hat System Administration 1 (RH124) and Red Hat System Administration 2 (RH134). By the end of RH124, students should be prepared to take the Preliminary Exam in Red Hat System Administration 1 (PE124) and will give students a good evaluation of their current learning path. Then, upon completion of both RH124 and RH134, students will be prepared to take the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification exam. Students can continue their learning path with OpenShift (DO180) or Red Hat System Administration 3: Linux Automation (RH294) cirriculum. All the exams are performance-based and test your practical skills in a real-world environment.
